Meet the Mommies

We are sisters-in-law with about 430 miles, 12 inches, and five kids between us.

Small Mommy is mother to four: three energetic little boys and a sweet little girl. She is wife to one very busy grad student on the cusp of obtaining his Ph.D. In her spare time...no, that doesn't happen...when she's creatively multi-tasking, she enjoys reading, sewing, cooking, going on adventures with her family and watching her children grow.

Tall Mommy is mother to an undeniably cute one year old and wife to one hardworking man...who happens to earn a living with food and has NO interest in seeing it, touching it, or thinking about it when he gets home. She has also just barely graduated from domestically deficient to pretty handy in the kitchen. (Seriously, she used to call Small Mommy and ask how to make canned corn. True story. Then she discovered the Food Network and it was love at first watch.) In her spare time (spare time? what spare time?!) she loves to craft, read good books, hang with the hubby, cook/bake, swim, talk politics, and sit in silence (a rare treat).

Small Mommy has many valid reasons not to have this meal planning business together; Tall Mommy has some pretty awesome excuses.
